Painted silk on bamboo construction, the wings pack down and the tail
(abdomen) section is detachable for transit.
This is a really nice flyer; one of the most versatile of the Chinese
kites, it can fly in a wide range of wind conditions; the tail section
acts as a stabiliser so it can tolerate more turbulence than most of the
other kites and is a good starter for Chinese style kites.
