T2 Competition
The T2 is now 10 years old - and has earned a reputation
as one of the best team kites available.
In an Aerialis review, the T2 took the top two slots (for
UL and Standard).
We've been working hard to develop a kite which will outperform
the T2 in all areas. The T4 is now delivering the goods -
and we will be phasing out the T2 in favour of the T4. However,
The T4 is only available in L version at the start of 2007,
so we are continuing to run the T2 until the full range of
T4 has been signed off, and we will continue to supply the
T2 for existing customers.

Tthe T2 was developed around the Avia Skinny and
G-Force tube; we are now switching to the equivalent SkyShark
tubes.
Absolute Zero (SUL): G-Force Super Skinny frame
and 12-panel Icarex fabric for ultra-low wind flying. Optimum
wind range 1-8 mph.
Competition UL: G-Force Super Skinny frame
and 20-panel Icarex fabric for ultra-low wind flying. Optimum
wind range 2-10 mph.
Competition Standard: G-Force Super Ultra-Light frame
and 20-panel Icarex PC 31 - for low to medium winds. Optimum
wind range 4-18 mph.
Competition Vent: 24-panel Chikara fabric/gauze and
G-Force Standard frame for medium to high wind. Optimum wind
range 12-25 mph. The Vent has 6 rip-off panels so that pull
can be kept to a sensible level even in seriously high winds.

We also produce a range of aerodynamic aids to help the
kites in high winds:
Air brake: Gauze (mesh) brake fitting between tail
and standoff.
Back brake: Gauze brake fitting at the back of the
kite.
Cruise Control: Variable self-adjusting air brake to
give constant speed across the wind window.
The Air brake + Back brake will allow the T2 Vent to compete
in winds over 30 mph and can be used with other aids such
as nappies or fuzzies.
